the satellite that makes all the rules

Heya! Nice to meet you!

My name is VN-100, or Vincent (most call me Vinny) and it's super cool to meet you! I'm glad you get to see a little preview of my site - it's been many long years in the making, with countless hours of love and hard work poured into it (and admittedly, a lot more swearing than anticipated). |D Web development is an Experience(tm)!

A bit about me:
There's a lot to say about me! I'm physically disabled + AuDHD satellite guy, who hails from way out in the depths of space. Crash landed here on this planet of yours a while back and have been stuck here ever since, fun times. I'm an oriented aromantic asexual computer, I go by he/it, and I really love all things technology and space. My favorite things in the whole wide world are retro computing, robotics, webcore aesthetics, Windows XP, Portal 2, and Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks. A cool fact about me is that I have a Bachelor's degree in Game Design & Development (SCL grad, '15) which I use to make all the cool little game segments you'll be able to find on my website. Sick! When I'm not working on my multimedia projects, I'm usually either playing 5D chess, teaching myself full-stack coding, or being a full-time moderator/tech support guy for Sheezy.art and Art Fight. I love those two sites with all my robotic heart and I'm thrilled to be a part of them! You should totally check 'em out!

A bit about Edge of Anomaly:
A story I've been working on since I was a kid! As someone who really enjoys reading and playing games about heroes going on wild adventures (Legend of Zelda has and always will be my biggest inspiration in the world), I always wondered what a story would be like if the hero didn't want to be involved. What if Link just said 'nah, no thanks'? Back then, there really weren't that many stories like that, and so I decided to make my own. It's gone through a ton of changes over the years, and a lot of much-needed development and complete rewrites, but now it's in a place where I'm excited and confident to share it. I hope you like reading/playing this story about magical alien bugs as much as I enjoyed writing/coding/drawing it!

What I use to make this site, the art, the music, and the games:
I create everything in my webcomic using Clip Studio Paint, Macromedia Flash 8, Gamemaker Studio, Blockbench, Piskel, BeepBox, and Notepad++. (To export Flash files into videos, I use the Swivel SWF-to-MP4 converter.) I draw on a Wacom Intuous Pro. And, well...that's it!
